Buying Land
How do I reserve a plot with Hayproperty?

You start by speaking with an advisor about the project you're interested in — Harvest Grove, Ireti, Pride Rock, or Sangotedo. Once you choose a plot, you'll receive an offer letter, payment schedule, and allocation confirmation once payment is completed.

Is the land free from government acquisition or disputes?

Every project goes through legal verification before it's opened for sale, and documentation is made available to buyers so they can review title status themselves rather than take our word for it.

Can I visit the site before I buy?

Yes — site inspections can be arranged with our sales team for any active project. For diaspora clients who can't travel, we provide photo and video documentation of the exact plot instead.

Co-Ownership
What is the SPV structure used for co-ownership units?

Co-ownership projects, like the UNILAG hostel and shop development, are held under a Special Purpose Vehicle — a proper legal entity — so every investor's stake is documented and protected, rather than relying on an informal arrangement.

How is rental income shared among co-owners?

Income is distributed proportionally to each investor's ownership stake, based on the terms set out in the SPV agreement provided at the point of investment.

Can I sell or transfer my co-ownership stake later?

Yes, stakes can generally be transferred or sold, subject to the terms of the SPV agreement. Speak with our team about the specific process for the project you're invested in.

Payments & Documentation
Do you offer flexible or installment payment plans?

Most projects offer a structured installment plan alongside outright payment. Your advisor will walk you through the specific schedule and pricing available for the project you choose.

What documents will I receive after payment?

Depending on the project, you'll receive an offer letter, receipt, allocation letter, and — once fully paid — the relevant title documentation for that development.

Can I track my allocation status online?

Yes. Our allocation tracking process is designed so any investor — local or diaspora — can verify the status of their plot or unit directly with our team at any point.

UK & Diaspora
I live in the UK — can I invest without traveling to Nigeria?

Yes. Our UK partner network exists specifically for this — you can complete an investment remotely, with documentation, photo/video verification, and regular updates handled through your assigned partner.

What are the monthly diaspora seminars?

These are regular sessions — online and in-person in the UK — where our team walks diaspora investors through active projects, documentation, and answers questions live.

How do I become a trained UK partner?

We onboard and train UK partners deliberately, in small groups, rather than opening the network to everyone at once. Reach out through the contact page and our diaspora relations lead will follow up.

General
Where is Hayproperty based?

Our head office is in Lagos, Nigeria, with an active partner network across the UK supporting diaspora investors.

How do I get in touch with an advisor?

You can reach us by email, phone, or by filling out the callback form on our contact page — an advisor will follow up directly.

Does Hayproperty only sell land, or also finished properties?

Both. Our portfolio spans serviced land, agro-real estate plots, apartment developments, and co-ownership units in student housing and retail spaces.

Still Have Questions?
